What can CWG do for you?

At CWG, we take a full-service approach to managing and processing paint rinse water making it easy for you to stay compliant, reduce impact, and recover value.
Here’s how we support your operations from start to finish:

Awareness & Prevention

We help you understand the risks of paint rinse water and the importance of responsible handling. Through clear communication, on-site toolboxes, and accessible resources, we promote best practices and drive awareness — not only within your team but across your network.

Expert Advice

Our team provides tailored guidance on the best solution for your needs — whether you're a painter, a manufacturer, a retailer, or operating a spray booth. We analyse your workflow and advise on optimal placement of tanks, frequency of pickups, and cost-saving opportunities.

Collection

CWG offers flexible collection systems — from fixed tanks at your site to mobile collection boxes (KCA/KGA) and regional drop-off points. We make it simple to safely store rinse water without disrupting your operations.

Transport

We organise professional, certified transport of your paint rinse water to ensure traceability, safety, and full legal compliance. This saves you time, limits liability, and ensures nothing is overlooked.

Processing

At out treatment facilities or via our on-site Mobile Units, the rinse water is purified through advanced multi-stage filtration. We remove PFAS, microplastics, and other harmful substances - returning clean water and separating out valuable materials.

Automation & Data Collection

Every batch is monitored and analysed. You gain access to data through your digital CWG dashboard: water volumes, recovery percentages, and more. Digital disposal certificates are provide to ensure full traceability.

Valorisation of Water & Raw materials

We close the loop by recovering usable raw materials (such as binders and pigments) and turning them into valuable input streams fot other industries. Instead of paying to dispose of waste, you become part of a circular economy - reducing your footprint and creating value from what was previously a liability.

What do we do with it?

We collect three streams of material. Residue, plastic buckets and rinse water. Clean Water Global purifies the rinse water into clean water, free from PFAS and chemicals. The solid materials that remain during this process are carefully prepared for valorisation and reuse. Finally, the buckets are processed and recycled into new buckets by Fire-Off and Dijkstra Plastics.

But Why?
The problem.

Paint rinse water is the mixture of water and paint left after a painting job. It's prohibited to rinse rollers and brushes in the sink; they should be rinsed in a separate bucket. The leftover water is called paint rinse water.

Painters who spraypaint always have paint rinse water. They regularly flush their pumps with water to clean them. This process involves water flowing through the pump to remove the paint residues from it.
